Michigan Vacation

Sawyer went on his very first vacation! We took a road trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where we went for 2 days to a church conference. Then we packed up and went to Lake, Michigan to visit Tim's aunt and uncle. It was so much fun! Sawyer was quite the little trooper...he loved meeting his new 2 month old cousin Olivia, and he was a huge flirt! He is such a cutie! Enjoy the pics!

Almost 6 Months!

Look at that cheesy smile! I tried to get his super cheese, but it's hard to get good pictures by myself. Next time Tim is home for the evening, I'll try to get some good cheesey smiles! Look at how good he sits! The Boppy is only behind him so if he falls, he won't bonk his head...like he's done a few times already! He only wants to sit like a big boy and he refuses to recline. Only sit up like a big boy! And he's getting closer to crawling. He pushes his knees under him and tries really hard! He'll be mobile in no time! (oh no! just kidding....kind of!)

Oh how fast they grow!!!

From 2 weeks to 5 months! Check out how much he's changed! My photographer friend Jaime took the 2 week pictures of little Bugs and The wagon pics when he's older. I took the not so good quality pics. At least my boy is adorable so they look cute even when I take them!

And now he's all grown up! I know some of these are repeats.....maybe they all are. But I just felt like adding them again so you can all see the difference he's made all at once. Plus, I didn't start this blog until he was already big!

Bayer Family Picnic

These pictures were all taken by my friend Jaime. Her son is the boy with the beautiful blue eyes a few pictures down! Thanks for the pictures! Bayer had a family picnic on the 11th. Grandma B accompanied the little guy and me since Tim was farming. We had fun...but it was so hot, we were all glad to leave!

This is Darby. Isn't she cute? She is 2 days younger than Sawyer! They are going to be best friends! Jami is Darby's mom. The 2 of us work together and were pregnant together...she was due 8 days before me, but I had Bugs 2 days before she had Darby.

Aren't his eyes beautiful? He is a super cute little guy! This is Carter. His mom is a wonderful photographer! If you know of anyone who needs one, ask me for her number! She does great work!

Here is Loren! She is 2.5 months old! Her mom works in Tim's building. She is adorable! So small compared to my guy!

Here is Joseph. He is a Banman twin. Him and his brother Jacob are going to be Sawyer's hunting buddies! Jacob wears glasses....They are both too cute!

There were tons of little ones at the picnic. We all had a blast, but I think we all were happy to get back to the air conditioning. My car said it was 95 degrees out there when we got in to leave! Now that's a hot day!



And here's Grandma B with the little guy! She loves watching him! We can't wait til Grandma Nancy gets to see him again! He's changed so much!

And Darby again. Just too cute! She just kept trying to grab Sawyer. She really wanted to poke his eyes! It was pretty funny! Then Sawyer kept trying to smack her hads away. And so it begins! =)

Happy 4th of July!!!

Sawyer went swimming for the first time on the 4th of July! The water was a little too cold and we went a little too late so the sun wasn't super hot....but that meant the little guy froze! Poor thing....he didn't swim for too long. He cried and we took him out and warmed him up. He loved the walk to and from the pool, though!



Tim and I had fun swimming, though! Tim had a blast....I think we'll try it again another time...maybe when it's a little warmer!

After swimming, Sawyer got a bath and relaxed in his bouncer seat and had a great time! He slept well that night.

Sunday we went down to the farm to load up the tractor and we went to Pittsburgh with Shaun to eat chicken. Sawyer was not happy with being in his seat for that long, so I had a lovely time trying to calm him down with his teethers and other toys.

It was a fun 4th, but an exhausting one! I think we all could use a nap!

Play Date!

On Saturday, Sawyer had his first play date with his friend Carter. He got to go for a ride in a wagon! It was a blast!

5 months old!

I can't believe he's already 5 months old! He's growing up so fast! And he's getting so big! I'm sure he'll be crawling before we know it! He is rolling over all the time now....which is funny because he HATES to be on his tummy! So, every time he rolls over, we have to roll him back!
