Happy 4th of July!!!

Sawyer went swimming for the first time on the 4th of July! The water was a little too cold and we went a little too late so the sun wasn't super hot....but that meant the little guy froze! Poor thing....he didn't swim for too long. He cried and we took him out and warmed him up. He loved the walk to and from the pool, though!



Tim and I had fun swimming, though! Tim had a blast....I think we'll try it again another time...maybe when it's a little warmer!

After swimming, Sawyer got a bath and relaxed in his bouncer seat and had a great time! He slept well that night.

Sunday we went down to the farm to load up the tractor and we went to Pittsburgh with Shaun to eat chicken. Sawyer was not happy with being in his seat for that long, so I had a lovely time trying to calm him down with his teethers and other toys.

It was a fun 4th, but an exhausting one! I think we all could use a nap!

Play Date!

On Saturday, Sawyer had his first play date with his friend Carter. He got to go for a ride in a wagon! It was a blast!

5 months old!

I can't believe he's already 5 months old! He's growing up so fast! And he's getting so big! I'm sure he'll be crawling before we know it! He is rolling over all the time now....which is funny because he HATES to be on his tummy! So, every time he rolls over, we have to roll him back!

Our Rainforest Jumparoo has been the best purchase for our little guy so far! He spends hours a day just jumping and running and getting super tired! It is hilarious! As soon as I have some free time.....more than it takes to write these posts, I'll work on getting video of him jumping like crazy! But, pictures will have to do for now!

Well, After a long weekend.....not in the number of days, but in the amount we did....our little guy was pretty tuckered out by Sunday evening!

He just "found his feet" on Saturday so he's been pretty much holding on to his toes every chance he gets!
