Blizzard 2011

Speaks for itself...Man, we got a lot of snow!!!

 And the snow has started...
 blizzard!!
Is there a house way back there??  Yep, but you can't see it!!
And the drifting and inches start to pile up!!
Is that a house way over there?  Yep, but if you didn't know it you couldn't tell!  Normally we can see it perfectly and even see and hear the people (Tim's dad) outside!!

 Oh goodness!  Even more!!

 Starting to bury the shed...
by the way, this fence is a 3 slat fence, not 2...
Hmmm, the shop is getting buried!
 Nice drift...
 Where's Jackson??  Nice path, huh?
This little path took forever to make and was pretty hard work!!
 Before my path...
Hmmm, not sure if the Honda could make it out....good thing the tractor was able to plow that big pile out of the way!  The snow shovel would have taken FOREVER!!!

Sawyer turns 3!!

January 22nd, 2010...Sawyer Sterling Stoughton turned 3!!  He wanted a Toy Story party with a Toy Story cake.  I decided I would make it.  It turned out ok, but not as good as I had hoped.  Here are some pictures from the party and after.

And this is the cake...Not terrible, but not great either.  =)

Playing in the box of one of his toys...yes, the box.

Worn out after his party at Aunt Stacie's house.  Loved the new game so much he fell asleep holding it up!

Too cute!  Fell asleep on my lap with his arms behind his head!

Picture from Grandma...fell asleep while watching TV!!

January

These were pictures that I took in January.  We had some REALLY nice weather during the month...that was rudely cut off with the blizzard of 2011.  Yes, we will get to those pictures later.

Both the kids had fun the first week of January when I took off to potty train Sawyer.  We may not have made a ton of progress with the potty training, but we had fun!  It was beautiful outside!!  Sawyer finally realized the gator wasn't something to be scared of and began to drive it!!  Woohoooo!  Now the fun begins!
We have this lovely dog kennel duplex in the back of the barn.  Sawyer found it one day and decided it was his house.  He played in there for hours!  Too bad it was actually cold that day!  I'm sure once it warms up, we'll be out there again!  Unless Tim tears it down first!!
Peaking out of his house.  =)

And this is the front of the house.....I forgot to add that one! I'll add more later of the inside and outside! =)

Wow, Time Flies!!

So, a year later I make another post! A lot has changed over the past months. We put our house up on the market and got it sold and we moved to the farm! We bought a 3 bedroom ranch with 40 acres across from our 120 acres we had before. So, Tim's dream of owning Linn county is 1 step closer! =) Anyway, I thought I would post some updated pictures of the new house, land, and the kiddos!

Visit to the fire station!!

Today was an awesome day!!! We got to go visit our friend Lisa who has been working as a paramedic at the fire station right down the street from our house. Sawyer LOVES the fire trucks and always wants to see them. Well, today he got to see them up close and personal. He was a little scared at first, but at the end he warmed up a little. He drove the big ladder truck and sat in the back of an ambulance and even got to play with Noelle, the fire station dalmation!!! It was a great time and we are so thankful that Lisa let us come visit!

He even got to turn the lights on!!!

The man who drives the trucks showed us everthing. He was super nice and at the end he gave both Sawyer and Scout hats, sticker badges, colors, and coloring books.

Even Scout got to drive!!

Lisa and Scout. Thanks for a wonderful day!!
